David Trent, a U.S. Navy veteran, founded Trent Defense LLC to correct what he saw too often in federal contracting: poor leadership, vague communication, and a lack of accountability.
His experience in both military service and civilian government work exposed a consistent problem — decisions made for optics instead of outcomes. Trent Defense was built to be the opposite. David leads with a clear operational mindset: stay mission-focused, communicate with transparency, and take full responsibility for results. His leadership style is shaped by real-world demands — not theory, not legacy titles. He brings the urgency and clarity of military execution into every agency engagement.
